Role Summary The SM/AVP Insurance will be responsible for managing insurance portfolio of the group including risk assessment, adequate coverage, timely renewal and claim administration.

- Reporting to: Head Corporate Law & Compliances

- Location: Mumbai (Bandra West)
- Industry Preference: Open relevant leadership experience & exposure is a must.
- Compensation: Competitive not a constraint for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the Group's overall insurance and risk mitigation strategy.
- Assess insurable risks across various businesses, subsidiaries, projects, and locations.

- Manage the Group's insurance portfolio, including property, engineering, marine, liability, employee benefits, motor, cyber, D&O;, and other specialized policies.
- Coordinate policy renewals, negotiations, and placements with insurers, brokers, and consultants to ensure optimal coverage and cost efficiency.
- Review insurance requirements for new projects, acquisitions, contracts, and business expansions.

- Lead claims management activities, including claim assessment, documentation,



negotiation, and settlement follow-up.
- Monitor insurance market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments impacting the Group.
- Advise management on risk mitigation measures and insurance solutions to minimize financial exposure.

- Maintain insurance records, policy schedules, claims databases, and management reports.
- Support business units in incident reporting, loss prevention, and risk management initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance companies, brokers, surveyors, and loss assessors.

- Take lead in digitalization and digitization of managing entire insurance ecosystem.
- Conduct periodic insurance audits, coverage adequacy reviews, and gap analyses.

Candidate Profile

- Bachelors degree in insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- Professional insurance qualifications (III, ACII, CPCU, or equivalent) preferred.
- 815 years of experience in corporate insurance, risk management, or insurance broking, preferably in a diversified business environment.

- Solid understanding of commercial insurance products claims management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of spreadsheet and digital tools.
