Role Description The Insurance Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Yamunanagar, responsible for supporting the growth and quality of PNB MetLife’s insurance business. This role includes explaining life insurance products, benefits, and terms to prospective and existing customers, assessing customer needs, and recommending suitable coverage options.

The Insurance

Officer will handle policy servicing activities such as documentation, premium follow-up, and coordination with underwriting and operations teams to ensure timely issuance and resolution of customer requests. Day-to-day tasks also involve generating leads,



supporting sales campaigns, maintaining accurate records in line with company and regulatory requirements, and delivering prompt, professional customer service. The role requires close collaboration with branch staff, sales teams, and bank partners to achieve business targets while upholding compliance and ethical standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust knowledge of insurance concepts, life insurance products, and basic regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, assess risk, and make informed recommendations.
- Candidates should possess foundational understanding of finance, including premium calculations, policy values, and basic financial planning.
- Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and a professional communication style.
- Candidates should possess sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing, with a focus on ethical and needs-based selling.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in insurance or banking is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a branch environment, meet targets, use MS Office and basic digital tools, and communicate fluently in English and local languages.
