The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across systems engineering, Linux, storage, networking, security, and compute infrastructure, with the ability to architect highly available, scalable, and high-performing environments. This role requires a hands-on architect who can evaluate business requirements, design robust infrastructure solutions, and guide implementation across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Infrastructure Architecture & Design - Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure architectures. - Develop infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and best practices. - Architect solutions across compute, storage, networking, security, and application hosting layers. - Design highly available and disaster-resilient infrastructure environments.

Systems Engineering - Lead the design and deployment of Linux-based infrastructure platforms. - Architect and optimize enterprise-grade systems including:



- Database platforms - Storage platforms - Caching systems - Web and application tiers - Middleware infrastructure - Ensure infrastructure reliability, scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

Performance Engineering - Conduct infrastructure assessments and capacity planning exercises. - Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across infrastructure layers. - Lead performance tuning initiatives for operating systems, databases, storage, networking, and applications. - Establish performance benchmarks and operational metrics.

Kubernetes & Modern Platforms - Design and support Kubernetes-based platforms for containerized workloads. - Define deployment, scalability, security, and operational best practices for Kubernetes environments. - Integrate Kubernetes with enterprise infrastructure services and monitoring platforms.

Security & Governance - Design infrastructure solutions aligned with security and compliance requirements. - Implement infrastructure hardening, access controls, and network security best practices. - Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and operational risks.

Technical Leadership - Provide architectural guidance to engineering and operations teams. - Review infrastructure designs and implementation plans. - Mentor engineers on infrastructure best practices and modern platform technologies. - Participate in technology evaluations and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
