About the Role

We’re building a network of high-quality independent recruiters specializing in AI/ML hiring .

We partner with startups to help them hire critical AI/ML talent, while you focus on what you do best — finding and closing exceptional candidates .

This is a contingency-based, performance-driven chance with access to startup hiring mandates that are difficult to source through traditional channels.

What You’ll Do

- Work on AI/ML hiring mandates across roles such as ML Engineers, Applied Scientists, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, GenAI/LLM Engineers and ML Leads.
- Own the recruitment process from sourcing → screening → coordination → offer closure .
- Understand technical requirements deeply enough to identify genuine signal beyond keywords on a resume.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior AI/ML candidates.
- Work directly with our team on active mandates and hiring priorities.
- Deliver high-quality candidates within agreed timelines.

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of recruitment experience , preferably in technology hiring.
- Strong experience hiring AI/ML or other highly technical talent .
- Proven ability to independently source and close candidates.
- Strong understanding of the AI/ML talent market.
- Experience working with startups , especially Series A–B funded companies , is highly preferred.




- Existing network of AI/ML candidates is a robust advantage.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong candidate assessment, communication and negotiation skills.
- A track record of successful placements matters more than the size of your agency or team.

Preferred Background You’ll be an especially strong fit if you have:
- Worked as an independent recruiter / freelance recruiter / recruitment consultant .
- Recruited for VC-backed startups.
- Made placements in Series A, Series B or early-growth startups .
- Built relationships with founders, CTOs, VP Engineering or Heads of AI/ML.
- Successfully closed hard-to-hire technical candidates.
