We are looking for an experienced Import & Export Manager to manage and coordinate international shipments, import and export operations, customs clearance, and related logistics activities for a large-scale semiconductor project in Dholera, Gujarat.

The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of Indian import/export regulations, customs procedures, documentation, freight forwarding, and customs clearance, preferably with experience handling industrial, engineering, construction, or semiconductor/project cargo.

The position will be based at the Trico Ahmedabad office and will require travel to the Dholera project site for a minimum of 50% of the time.

**Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end import and export activities for the semiconductor project.

Coordinate international shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and transporters.

Manage customs clearance activities and ensure timely clearance of imported materials and equipment.

Ensure compliance with Indian customs regulations, import/export policies, and applicable statutory requirements.

Review and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/airway bills,



certificates of origin, insurance documents, and other shipment documentation.

Coordinate with CHA/customs brokers for Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, examination, assessment, duty payment, and clearance processes.

Monitor shipment status from origin to final delivery at the Ahmedabad/Dholera project site.

Coordinate transportation of project cargo from ports/airports to the Dholera site.

Support planning and execution of heavy, oversized, critical, and time-sensitive project shipments.

Maintain accurate records of import/export documentation and customs clearance status.

Track customs duties, taxes, freight costs, demurrage, detention, and other shipment-related costs.

Coordinate with procurement, project, finance, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.**
