PrivaSapien is Looking for:**** : Implementation Engineer PRIVACY & RESPONSIBLE AI Reports to: Delivery Manager/ VP Customer Success

Function: Delivery / Forward Deployment

Experience: 3+ years in deployment, integration, or implementation engineering, ideally gained at or through a System Integrator (SI) or IT services organization

About The Role We are looking for an Implementation Engineer to deploy, integrate, and support our Privacy and Responsible AI (PERAI) platform inside enterprise customer environments. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role at the point where the product meets the customer's estate: you will stand up the platform, wire it into the customer's systems, and keep it running through go-live and stabilisation.

The role suits someone with a strong delivery and systems-integration background who is comfortable working on-site or embedded with enterprise customers and their SI partners. Deep prior expertise in privacy or Responsible AI is not required — structured, domain-specific training is provided, and a genuine willingness to learn the domain and apply it in real deployments is what matters. The essential foundation for this role is hands-on DevOps capability and a solid working understanding of microservices, alongside strong API integration skills and the discipline to deliver reliably in complex, regulated customer environments.

You will work closely with the customer's technical teams, SI delivery partners, and our own product and engineering teams — owning the deployment from workplace readiness through integration, validation, and handover to steady-state support.

What You'll Do

- Understand and interpret customer requirements, then design and clearly explain the solution — how PERAI platform components map to the customer's architecture, data flows, integration points, and regulatory context — to both technical and business stakeholders.
- Represent and defend the platform's capabilities in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and evaluations — addressing customer questions and objections with clarity, evidence, and credibility.
- Deploy PERAI platform components into customer environments — public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises — using containerised, microservices-based deployment patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Integrate the platform into the customer's ecosystem: REST and event-based APIs, SDK-based integration (for example consent and inference SDKs), integration with the customer's SaaS and enterprise applications, identity and access management (Active Directory / RBAC), SIEM and log pipelines, databases, and upstream data sources.
- Configure, test,

and validate each deployment against customer requirements and agreed acceptance criteria, ensuring the environment is production-ready before handover.
- Solve deployment and integration problems collaboratively with customer-ecosystem and SI-side stakeholders — infrastructure, security, identity, network, database, and application teams — driving issues to resolution across organisational and team boundaries.
- Troubleshoot across the full stack — containers and orchestration, networking, APIs, databases, service-to-service communication, and application logs — to diagnose and resolve deployment and integration issues.
- Provide hands-on deployment support and escalation-grade technical support during rollout and stabilisation, working within the tiered (L0–L3) support model and handing off cleanly to the steady-state support organisation.
- Work alongside SI delivery partners — following reference architectures, maintaining delivery quality and consistency, and helping enable partner teams on the platform.
- Capture deployment learnings and contribute to runbooks, playbooks, deployment guides, and the knowledge base so that each rollout is faster and more repeatable than the last.
- Surface product usability and reliability feedback from the field to product and engineering, acting as an informed voice for the customer.
- Complete structured domain training on privacy and Responsible AI concepts and apply that understanding to configure and validate deployments correctly for each customer's regulatory context.

What We're Looking For

- 3+ years in deployment, integration, implementation, or delivery engineering, with meaningful time spent delivering for enterprise customers — an SI or IT services background is strongly valued.
- Hands-on DevOps capability: containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and comfort with scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).
- Practical API integration experience: consuming and debugging REST APIs, working with authentication (OAuth / JWT / API keys), webhooks or event streams, and integrating via SDKs; able to read API documentation and reason about request/response behaviour.
- Experience integrating with SaaS and enterprise platforms via APIs and connectors, including authentication, data exchange, and troubleshooting integration failures.
- A solid, hands-on understanding of microservices architecture — service-to-service communication, containerised deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of distributed systems (a core foundation for this role).

- A good understanding of databases — relational (SQL) and ideally NoSQL — including data models, writing and reading queries, and diagnosing connectivity and performance issues in a deployment context.
- The ability to translate customer requirements into a workable solution design and communicate it convincingly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Customer-facing delivery experience, with the professionalism and communication to work directly with enterprise stakeholders on-site or embedded, and to collaborate across customer and partner teams to resolve problems.
- Strong troubleshooting and log-analysis skills, and a methodical, ownership-driven approach to getting a deployment to a working, accepted state.
- Clear written and verbal communication for both customer-facing and internal audiences.
- A genuine willingness to learn the Privacy and Responsible AI domain through structured training and apply it in the field.

Good to Have

- Delivery experience in BFSI or other regulated industries, and familiarity with enterprise change and release processes.
- Exposure to SIEM tooling, IAM / Active Directory integration, and data pipelines.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, Helm, Ansible).
- Cloud or Kubernetes certifications (for example AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, or CKA).
- Experience working within tiered support and ticketing models, including SLAs and escalation handling.
- Familiarity with LLM / AI gateways, API gateways, or security and privacy tooling.

Why This Role Privacy and Responsible AI is a fast-emerging discipline, and this role puts you at the front line of it — inside real enterprise deployments, solving real integration problems, with the domain training to build a skill set that is genuinely scarce in the market. You will gain deep exposure to modern deployment, integration, and platform engineering across demanding customer environments, work shoulder-to-shoulder with senior solution and product teams, and have a clear path to grow into senior Forward Deployed Engineer and solution architecture roles as you deepen both your technical range and your command of the domain.
