: IMDS Team Lead Role The role involves end-to-end management of IMDS activities, from understanding product/material structures and collecting supplier data to creating, validating, submitting, and maintaining Material Data Sheets (MDS).

The candidate should have robust knowledge of:

- IMDS structure & hierarchy Materials, substances, components and semi-components.
- IMDS system User interface, navigation, user roles, company administration and dashboards.
- Material & substance reporting Material creation, classifications, substance reporting and confidential substances.
- MDS creation & management Creating components/semi-components, referencing existing data and integrating supplier information.
- Validation & submission – Running IMDS checks, resolving errors/warnings, internal review and customer submission.
- Acceptance & rejection management – Handling customer/OEM feedback, corrections and resubmissions.
- Compliance – GADSL, SVHC, regulatory requirements and compliance reporting.




- Customer/OEM requirements – Managing customer-specific requirements and feedback.
- Change management – Updating MDSs based on material, product, supplier, regulatory or customer changes.
- Problem solving – Identifying and resolving common IMDS errors and warnings effectively.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials, Chemical, or Mechanical disciplines.
- 5to 10 years of hands-on experience in IMDS management.
- Strong knowledge of material compliance regulations such as REACH, RoHS, and ELV.
- Familiarity with BOM structures and material composition analysis.
- Prior experience working with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data handling tools.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of IMDS, RoHS, Reach, Compliance engineering, and BOM management.
- Familiarity with IMDS software and regulatory updates
- German Language with B1 or above level
