Role Description The HVAC Design Engineer will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, developing HVAC designs for residential and commercial buildings in coordination with structural and other MEP disciplines. Daily responsibilities include performing heat load calculations, sizing and selecting equipment, preparing ducting and piping layouts, and coordinating with plumbing and electrical design as required. The role involves creating design drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs, and supporting project teams during design reviews and client meetings.





The engineer will collaborate with senior consultants and project managers to ensure designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability objectives, and will assist in resolving technical queries during execution.

Qualifications

- Strong HVAC domain skills, including HVAC Design and HVAC system selection for residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge of building services coordination, including basic Plumbing design concepts and integration with other MEP disciplines.
- Proficiency in engineering Calculations related to heat loads, air flow, and equipment sizing.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles applied to building environmental control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to read and develop CAD/Revit drawings and MEP layouts (experience with relevant software is an advantage).
- Familiarity with local building codes, IS standards, and energy-efficient design practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Detail-oriented approach, solid problem-solving abilities, and readiness to work on-site in Bengaluru.
