Role Description The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for designing HVAC systems for pharmaceutical facilities, with a focus on clean rooms, controlled environments, and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day tasks include preparing HVAC design calculations, layouts, and drawings; selecting equipment; and coordinating with architecture, civil, electrical, and MEP teams to ensure integrated solutions. The role involves reviewing project requirements, preparing technical specifications, supporting installation and commissioning, and resolving design or site-related issues in collaboration with project engineers.

The HVAC Design Engineer will also help optimize energy efficiency,



maintain hygiene standards, and prepare documentation for validation and audits. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

- Strong HVAC design skills, including load calculations, system selection, and equipment sizing for clean rooms and controlled environments.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical facility requirements, including GMP guidelines, contamination control, and clean room classifications.
- Proficiency with design and drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar software) and familiarity with HVAC design software.
- Understanding of integration with MEP systems, including ducting, piping, utilities, and coordination with electrical and architectural teams.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and industry standards and codes relevant to HVAC and building services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and compliance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary project teams and site personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; experience in pharmaceutical or clean room projects is an advantage.

- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a energetic environment.
