About the Role
We are looking for an HR Trainee to support the HR / People Development function across recruitment, employee engagement, attendance, training, payroll coordination, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, approachable, and eager to learn. This role is suited to someone who wants practical, hands-on exposure to end-to-end HR operations and will work closely with the HR / People Development Manager on day-to-day people-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
• Assist in end-to-end recruitment: job posting, resume screening, shortlisting, and telephonic screening.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and interview panels.
- Maintain candidate data and recruitment pipeline in the HR/recruitment tracker.
- Support interview feedback documentation and candidate communication.
- Assist in offer discussions, salary negotiation, and joining documentation under HR guidance.
2. Onboarding & HR Documentation
- Coordinate onboarding from offer acceptance to joining, including document verification.
- Assist with employee creation and data entry in HRMS/attendance systems.
- Coordinate induction schedules and department introductions for new joiners.
- Ensure new employees are briefed on company policies, attendance, and leave practices.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor daily attendance and flag missed punches, late arrivals, and irregularities.
- Track leave applications and maintain accurate leave records.
- Coordinate attendance corrections and leave approvals with employees and managers.
- Prepare monthly attendance data for payroll processing.
4. People Development & Employee Engagement
- Assist in planning engagement activities, celebrations, and recognition initiatives.
- Support birthday, work anniversary, and festival engagement programs.
- Collect employee feedback and support engagement improvement actions.
- Coordinate training sessions, maintain attendance and completion records.
5. Payroll & HR Reporting (MIS)
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs — attendance, leave, incentives, deductions, new joiners, exits.
- Verify employee data accuracy before sharing payroll inputs.
- Maintain HR reports, trackers, and MIS with accuracy and timeliness.
6. Employee Relations & HR Support
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and route concerns appropriately.
- Support HR communications, notices, letters, and internal announcements.
- Handle employee information with confidentiality and professionalism.
7. Employee Lifecycle & Exit Management
- Assist with resignation and exit formalities, including exit interviews.
- Coordinate asset recovery, clearance, and final settlement inputs.
- Maintain accurate records of employee movement and lifecycle documentation.

HR Process Improvement
- Support the HR team in identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies and SOPs.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and multitasking ability.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets, MS Office, and HRMS tools.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Basic understanding of HR processes will be an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Freshers with a strong interest in HR are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 0–1 year of HR/recruitment experience can also apply.
