Job Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for leading and managing all Human Resource functions, including talent acquisition, HR operations, performance management, employee relations, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, HRMS/ERP administration, policy implementation, training development, and organizational development. The role ensures that HR strategies support business objectives while maintaining legal compliance and a positive work culture.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy Workforce Planning
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Prepare annual manpower planning and hiring budgets.
- Forecast workforce requirements based on business expansion.
- Monitor HR metrics and recommend process improvements.
Recruitment Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for all levels.
- Approve job descriptions and hiring plans.
- Develop sourcing strategies through job portals, referrals, consultants, and social media.
- Conduct managerial and leadership interviews.
- Monitor recruitment KPIs such as Time-to-Hire, Cost-per-Hire, and Offer Acceptance Rate.
HR Operations
- Oversee onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and separations.
- Ensure accurate employee documentation and records.
- Supervise attendance, leave management, and employee database.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations.
HRMS / ERP Management
- Manage HRMS/ERP implementation and utilization.
- Ensure employee master data accuracy.
- Monitor attendance, leave, recruitment, and employee workflows in the system.
- Generate HR dashboards and MIS reports for management.
Payroll Compensation
- Review monthly payroll inputs before processing.
- Coordinate with Finance for salary processing.
- Verify statutory deductions (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, etc.).
- Oversee Full Final Settlements and salary revisions.
Performance Management
- Develop and implement the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Define KRAs, KPIs, and appraisal frameworks.
- Coordinate probation reviews, confirmations, and annual appraisals.
- Drive Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) where required.
Employee Relations
- Resolve employee grievances and workplace conflicts.
- Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Conduct disciplinary inquiries and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to the company's Code of Conduct.
HR Policies Compliance
- Draft, review, and implement HR policies and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate internal HR audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Learning Development
- Identify training needs through performance reviews.
- Plan induction and employee development programs.
- Coordinate leadership and technical training.
- Evaluate training effectiveness.
Exit Management
- Oversee resignation acceptance, exit interviews, and clearance.
- Ensure proper handover and company asset recovery.
- Approve Full Final Settlement documentation.
- Analyze attrition trends and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience 5-10+ years of experience in HR Operations and HR Management.
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
- Experience with HRMS/ERP systems is preferred.
