WriterOnRent(WOR)
Noida
WriterOnRent (WOR) builds content that works. Social media strategy, blog posts, website copy, technical articles: we turn ideas into narratives that land with the people they're written for. We've been at it since 2018, for 300+ clients across India, the US, UK and Canada.
Join us and help build the team behind the writing.
The role
- You'll run day-to-day HR for our team: hiring writers and editors, onboarding them well, keeping records clean, and making sure people feel looked after. Since we hire writers continuously, recruitment will be the biggest part of your week. You'll work directly with the senior management, so you'll see how decisions actually get made instead of one narrow slice of HR.
Full-time, on-site at Sector 58, Noida
10 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Friday
Immediate joiners only
3 to 6 months
Stipend ₹12,000 to ₹15,000 per month, based on prior HR or recruitment experience
Where this leads
Perform well, and you move into a full time HR Executive role at ₹2.5 to ₹3.5 LPA. The number depends on what you've actually run: hiring closed, onboarding owned, and how independently you're working by month three. We'll tell you in month two where you're tracking.
What you'll do
- Run hiring end to end for writer and editor roles: post, source, screen, schedule, track.
- Coordinate writing tests and shortlisting with the editorial team
- Own onboarding, from welcome kit and tool access to the 30-day check-in
- Maintain employee records, contracts and attendance, and prepare monthly payroll inputs for review
- Run engagement: check-ins, feedback surveys, team rituals, work anniversaries
- Coordinate exits: handover, exit notes, asset recovery
Compliance filings, salary decisions and offer approvals are signed off by [name / Founder]. You'll prepare and coordinate, so you learn them properly before you own them.
What we're looking for
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Psychology, Business or similar. The degree matters less than the rest of this list.
- Available to join immediately, full-time and on-site in Noida, for at least three months
- Writes clearly. You're joining a writing company, so sloppy emails get noticed.
- Organised by default. You keep trackers current without being chased.
- Discreet. You'll see salary data and personal information from week one.
- Comfortable with Google Sheets and Docs
- Asks when unsure instead of guessing. Most HR mistakes are guesses.
A prior recruitment internship, ATS familiarity, or a basic grasp of CTC, PF and TDS are all a plus, not a requirement.
