About The Future Council The Future Council (TFC) is a student-led startup ecosystem connecting ambitious students, founders, builders, and opportunities across universities.

We’re building both sides of the startup pipeline: a curated network of students who want to work with startups and a selective fellowship that helps aspiring founders turn ideas into ventures.

As TFC grows, we’re looking for someone who can help us build the team behind the ecosystem.

About the Role

We’re looking for an HR Intern who is genuinely interested in people, hiring, team building, and creating a strong working culture.

You won't just be maintaining spreadsheets or screening resumes. You'll get hands-on experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, team coordination, onboarding, employee engagement, and building teams for an early-stage organization.

You’ll work closely with the founding team and help us find the people who can help build TFC.

What You'll Do

Help recruit interns and team members across different verticals.

Source and shortlist candidates through LinkedIn, college communities and other platforms.

Conduct initial screening and coordinate interviews.

Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.

Help onboard new team members.

Maintain recruitment and team records.

Help improve the candidate and onboarding experience.

Work on employee engagement and team-building initiatives.

Understand different roles within TFC and help identify the right people for them.

Assist the founding team in building a strong and motivated team culture.

Is genuinely interested in HR, recruitment and people management.

Communicates clearly and professionally.

Is comfortable talking to and approaching current people.

Is organized and can manage multiple candidates simultaneously.

Takes initiative rather than waiting for instructions.

Can identify good people and understand what makes someone a good fit for a team.

Is passionate about startups, entrepreneurship and building communities.

Prior HR experience isn't mandatory.

If you've recruited people for a college society, built a team for a project, conducted interviews, managed a community, or simply enjoy working with people, we'd like to hear from you.

Growth & Compensation

Month 1: Unpaid evaluation period.

This gives us an opportunity to understand your work ethic, communication, consistency and ability to take ownership.

After Month 1: ₹5,000/month based on performance.

If your work is exceptional, you'll have the opportunity to receive a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) with a better salary and a larger role within TFC.

Growth Path

HR Intern → HR Associate → Core Team

Strong performers can eventually take ownership of TFC's recruitment and people vertical, including hiring and managing future interns and helping shape the culture of the organization.
