Responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations at the plant, ensuring proper employee records, attendance and payroll inputs, statutory compliance, employee discipline, welfare, and smooth coordination between employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily attendance, leave, shift schedules, overtime, and employee records.
- Coordinate with departments for manpower deployment and attendance-related requirements.
- Prepare and verify payroll inputs, including attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and leave data.
- Maintain accurate employee documentation, personnel files, and HR records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Manage contract labour records, documentation, attendance, and contractor compliance.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace issues.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to company rules, policies, procedures, and workplace discipline.
- Coordinate employee welfare activities, including canteen, transport, uniforms, facilities, and other employee-related requirements.
- Conduct and maintain records of employee induction and HR-related training.
- Assist in performance appraisal, confirmation, and other employee lifecycle processes.
- Prepare regular reports on attendance, absenteeism,
overtime, employee turnover, leave, and other HR metrics.
- Coordinate with labour contractors, auditors, government authorities, and external agencies as required.
- Support the HR Manager/Plant Head in implementing and maintaining HR policies and processes at the plant.
- Ensure HR documentation and processes are maintained as per company protocols and audit requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PG Diploma in HR preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR, preferably in a manufacturing/plant environment.
- Knowledge of labour laws, statutory compliance, payroll, and employee relations.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel and HR/payroll software.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle employee-related matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on HR professional capable of independently managing plant HR operations, employee discipline, compliance, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee welfare, while maintaining proper processes and documentation.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
