OB DESCRIPTION – HOSPITAL MANAGER

Department: Hospital Administration

Reporting To: Director / Proprietor

Employment: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

- Overall supervision and day-to-day administration of the hospital.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, front office, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, housekeeping, security and other departments.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all hospital departments and proper patient flow.
- Monitor staff attendance, duty rosters, discipline and performance.
- Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, policies, statutory requirements and quality standards.
- Monitor patient services, complaints and feedback and ensure timely resolution.
- Supervise housekeeping, security, maintenance, biomedical waste management and general hospital hygiene.
- Monitor hospital supplies, consumables, equipment and inventory and prevent unnecessary wastage.
- Coordinate with TPA, Insurance, Corporate, Ayushman/PM-JAY and other empanelment-related departments as assigned.
- Monitor billing, discharge processes and coordination between clinical and administrative departments.
- Ensure proper documentation, registers, reports and administrative records.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Monitor hospital expenses and support cost-control measures.




- Handle administrative emergencies and escalate major issues to the Director immediately.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings and review pending issues, complaints and operational performance.
- Ensure skilled behaviour and discipline among all hospital staff.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly operational reports to the Director.
- Perform any other responsibility assigned by the Director/Management.

Accountability The Hospital Manager shall be responsible for smooth hospital operations, staff discipline, patient service, administrative coordination, compliance, cost control and overall operational efficiency of the hospital. Qualification & Experience

- Minimum Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
- Preferred Qualification: MBA / PG Diploma in Hospital Administration, Hospital Management or Healthcare Management will be an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in hospital administration/healthcare operations will be preferred.
- Candidates with experience in NABH, TPA/Insurance, Ayushman/PM-JAY, billing, patient coordination and hospital operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
