Role Summary
We're looking for a detail-oriented Homologation Engineer responsible for vehicle homologation and certification activities, ensuring vehicles and components comply with applicable AIS, CMVR, ARAI, ICAT, BIS and other regulatory requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
*Manage end-to-end vehicle homologation and certification activities
*Prepare and review homologation documents, technical specifications and compliance reports
*Coordinate with ARAI, ICAT and other regulatory agencies for testing and certification
*Interpret and apply AIS, CMVR and applicable automotive regulations
*Coordinate vehicle/component testing to ensure regulatory compliance
*Support Type Approval, COP (Conformity of Production) and certification activities
*Review test reports and identify compliance gaps
*Collaborate with R&D;, Design, Testing, Validation,
Manufacturing and Quality teams
*Track regulatory changes and assess their impact on existing and new vehicle programs
*Support preparation of technical files, drawings, BOMs and other certification documents
Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of Automotive Homologation & Certification
Good understanding of AIS / CMVR regulations
Experience with ARAI / ICAT certification processes
Knowledge of vehicle regulations related to safety, emissions, dimensions, lighting and braking
Experience in Type Approval and COP activities
Good documentation and coordination skills
- Knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle architecture
