The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining industry-leading automation and observability solutions.

Working within the Unified Communications (UC) Operations team, they will collaborate closely with network subject matter experts to identify opportunities for automation, monitoring enhancement, and operational optimisation using DevOps tools, UiPath RPA, and scripting technologies such as Python. The role requires experience in Agile delivery methodologies, a strong understanding of DevOps practices, and a commitment to software quality through unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.

What you will do

- Design, develop, test, and maintain automation solutions for Network Operations.
- Create scalable automation frameworks using Data Analytics, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, APIs, GitHub, and Microservices technologies.
- Support network transformation initiatives related to planning, deployment, optimisation, and operational efficiency.
- Customise and enhance observability platforms including Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, and Jaeger to deliver new metrics, analytics, alerts, logging, and tracing capabilities.
- Collaborate with Network SMEs and operational teams to identify automation and monitoring opportunities.
- Work within Agile delivery frameworks to achieve project objectives.




- Apply Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide accurate progress updates and proactively communicate risks or challenges impacting delivery timelines or quality.
- Support the development, assessment, optimisation, and enhancement of network systems and services.
- Create and maintain project documentation in accordance with organisational standards.
- Contribute to operational excellence through innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.

- Ability to design and develop object-oriented solutions (OOP).
- Experience in scripting and automation technologies, including Grafana, Kibana, and Python.
- Understanding of modern service offerings and technology trends with a proactive approach to continuous learning.

- Understanding of networking concepts.
- Knowledge of database technologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in scripting, automation, observability, or related technologies.
