About the Role

We are looking for experienced Pega Testers to join our QA team and ensure the quality, stability, and performance of enterprise Pega applications. The ideal candidate should possess robust experience in manual testing, test planning, defect management, and validating business workflows within Pega-based applications. The role requires close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to understand testing scope.
- Design comprehensive test scenarios and detailed test cases covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute manual testing for Pega applications across multiple modules.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify hidden defects and usability issues.
- Validate business processes, workflows, decision rules, and case management functionalities.
- Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.
- Identify, log, prioritize, and track defects through closure using defect management tools.




- Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify defect fixes.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Ensure complete test coverage for new enhancements and production releases.
- Review requirements for testability and provide feedback during the design phase.
- Prepare test execution reports, defect metrics, and quality status reports.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities.
- Maintain test documentation and ensure compliance with organizational QA standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and overall product quality.

Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience in software testing.
- Hands-on experience testing enterprise Pega applications.
- Experience preparing detailed test cases and executing end-to-end testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Experience in defect lifecycle management.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and development teams.
