Position description: Jindal Stainless Limited, a leader in the Mining & Metals industry, is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Mines department. This role demands extensive expertise in underground and surface mining operations, with a focus on ensuring safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supervising mining activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices to optimize resource extraction while maintaining environmental and safety protocols.

This position requires a proactive leader with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage complex mining projects in a dynamic industrial environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate daily mining operations to ensure efficient extraction and processing of minerals in compliance with company standards.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work setting, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and environmental guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections of mining equipment and infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and prevent operational disruptions.
- Lead and mentor mining teams,



providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.
- Collaborate with geologists and engineers to plan and execute mining strategies that maximize resource recovery and minimize environmental impact.
- Prepare detailed reports on mining activities, production metrics, and safety incidents for senior management review.
- Manage inventory and procurement of mining supplies and equipment to support uninterrupted operations.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct safety drills to prepare teams for potential mining hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and environmental regulations related to mining operations and reporting.
- Utilize mining software and technology to optimize operational workflows and data management.
