Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Health Inspector role based in Haveri.
The Health
Inspector will conduct routine and targeted inspections of healthcare facilities, equipment, and environments to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities include evaluating occupational health risks, reviewing documentation and procedures, identifying non-compliance issues, and preparing clear, actionable inspection reports. The role also involves collaborating with supervisory and clinical staff, providing guidance on corrective actions, and following up to verify that improvements are implemented.
The Health
Inspector will stay up to date with relevant regulations and guidelines, participate in training, and support continuous improvement in safety practices.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in healthcare environments.
- Proficiency in Inspection processes, including conducting site visits, assessing risks, and documenting findings.
- Understanding of Occupational Health standards and regulations, with experience identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
- Experience or training in Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including environmental compliance and safe facility operations.
- Supervisory Skills to coordinate with facility staff, support adherence to protocols, and influence safe work practices.
- Relevant diploma or degree in public health, environmental health, occupational safety, or a related field.
- Ability to interpret regulations, write clear reports, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Attention to detail, robust analytical skills, and a commitment to ethical, unbiased inspection practices.
