Role: Reliance Carbon Fiber - Technical Services - Head QA/QC

Education: PhD/Masters/Btech/B.E in Chemical/Textiles

Experience: 10+ years

- Monthly, weekly, daily resource planning and ordering based on plant requirement.
- Timely reporting of daily / weekly / monthly product characteristics to the concerned departments.
- Manpower resource planning & lab effectiveness & efficiencies.
- Annual budget plan.
- Handling of customer complaint.
- Owner of Quality Management System (accreditation, audits, certifications, etc..).
- Owner of customer complaint management process.
- Drive improvement work package to enhance Safety, efficiency, reliability and consistency of inspection & testing activities.
- Assist departments in data interpretation to formulate actions for product improvement.
- Commit self and team members involvement in QC, KSS and other team activities.
- Stimulate & support laboratory & quality system simplification.




- Asses the previous year performance of the department & plan improvement points while preparing the yearly P&B; formulation (Including AMC, reagents & chemicals etc.),
- Adoption of cost control measures such as development of internal calibration techniques, to reduce - Appraisal Cost, Cost of poor quality (Internal), Compensation (External)"

Preferred Experience

- Skilled having Doctorate / Masters Degree in Chemistry / Fiber Science, from a reputed university having a proven track record in the respective field.
- 10+ years of experience in managing QA/QC/Quality - Laboratory in a similar site with hands on experience in handling laboratory teams
- Experience of leading a department or Laboratory team with continuous processes and 24/7 shift rotation
- Exposures in IMS / ISO system
- Additional exposures in analytical methods related to composites / aerospace / high temperature processes.
- Knowledge of automotive and aerospace quality certification
