We are partnering with a leading Global Bank to identify an accomplished Head of Technology Business Lending to lead technology strategy, engineering transformation, and delivery for its Business Lending platform. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving innovation, modern engineering practices, and digital transformation while delivering scalable, customer-centric lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute the technology strategy for the Business Lending portfolio, aligning with business objectives.

- Lead large-scale engineering teams delivering enterprise-grade lending platforms and digital capabilities.

- Drive digital transformation initiatives to simplify processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

- Build and lead an Engineering Centre of Excellence, embedding up-to-date engineering, DevOps, and automation practices.

- Champion cloud-native architecture, microservices, API-first development, and engineering best practices.

Required Experience & Skills





- 20+ years of technology leadership experience across enterprise application development and engineering.

- Strong hands-on knowledge of technologies including Java, Microservices, React, .NET, Cloud Platforms, and modern application architectures.

- Proven experience defining and executing digital strategies that improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

- Deep understanding of software engineering practices, Agile delivery, DevOps, CI/CD, and engineering governance.

- Demonstrated success in establishing and leading Engineering Centres of Excellence.

- Mandatory experience in Business Lending technology and domain.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using AI-powered engineering tools such as Cursor and driving engineering productivity through AI.

- Exposure to Generative AI solution development and AI-enabled software engineering practices.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and transformation experience within financial services.
