Role Description The Head of Procurement is a full time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for leading and optimizing all procurement activities across the organization. This role oversees supplier selection and management, negotiates contracts and pricing, and ensures timely purchasing of ICT, EV mobility, and infrastructure-related goods and services.

The Head of Procurement will develop and implement procurement strategies, establish policies and procedures, and monitor compliance with budget, quality, and delivery requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, conducting supplier evaluations, analyzing spend and market trends, mitigating supply risks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, finance,



and project delivery. The role also involves building and mentoring a procurement team, driving process improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives aligned with Karmikus’s growth objectives.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in procurement and purchasing, with experience structuring and executing end-to-end buying processes.
- Strong skills in supplier management and supplier evaluation, including performance monitoring and development of long-term vendor partnerships.
- Proven expertise in contract negotiation, with the ability to secure favorable commercial terms while managing risk and compliance.
- Experience in ICT, EV mobility, or IT infrastructure procurement, including familiarity with technical specifications and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS, PMP) are an advantage.
- Ability to lead and develop a procurement team, with strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent analytical, budgeting, and cost-optimization abilities, supported by proficiency in ERP or procurement software tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with a focus on ethical, transparent, and non-discriminatory business practices.
