Role Overview The Vice President Construction will lead the organizations engineering, construction, and project delivery functions with a solid focus on luxury high-rise developments. This role requires a seasoned leader with expertise in advanced construction methodologies, project programming, and safety excellence, ensuring world-class delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Construction Leadership

- Define and drive Construction vision, construction strategies, and execution frameworks for premium developments • Establish best-in-class engineering standards, construction methodologies, and governance systems

2. Project Delivery Excellence

- Lead end-to-end execution of projects from concept to completion and handover
- Ensure delivery aligned with time, cost, quality, and client expectations

• Drive milestone-based monitoring and performance tracking systems

3. High-Rise Luxury Segment Expertise

- Provide leadership in execution of multi-storey/high-rise luxury residential projects
- Ensure superior standards in finishes, design detailing, and construction quality

• Understand complexities of premium segment construction and client expectations

4. Construction Planning & Programming

- Drive advanced construction planning and scheduling using tools such as Primavera / MSP
- Ensure strong control over project timelines, sequencing, and resource optimization

• Implement modern project control techniques and reporting systems

5. Engineering, Design & Technology Adoption

- Lead design coordination across architecture, structure, and MEP
- Drive adoption of latest construction technologies (e.g., formwork systems, precast, BIM, digital tools)

• Ensure continuous innovation and process improvements in construction practices

Commercial & Contractual Oversight

- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and commercial performance of projects
- Review BOQs, estimates, and contract strategies

• Ensure alignment of procurement with project delivery timelines and cost efficiency

7. Health, Safety & Compliance Leadership

- Champion a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture across all projects
- Ensure implementation of robust safety systems, audits, and compliance standards

• Drive zero-incident culture and adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements

8. Risk & Quality Management

- Identify and mitigate Construction and execution risks proactively
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) systems

• Maintain consistency in construction quality and delivery standards

9. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

- Lead large cross-functional teams across projects, engineering, planning, and contracts
- Interface with clients, consultants, and senior leadership

• Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, delivery, and excellence

Mandatory Candidate Requirements

- Proven experience in multi-storey/high-rise luxury residential projects
- Must have successfully delivered at least 2–3 projects end-to-end
- Strong expertise in advanced construction planning & project programming
- Well-versed with latest construction technologies and modern execution practices

• Demonstrated leadership in Health & Safety (HSE) implementation and compliance

Those who have already worked in Real Estate from EPC side will be preferred.

Candidate Profile

Qualification:

- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)

Experience:

- 22+ years in construction / real estate/infrastructure
- Experience in handling large-scale, premium developments
