Purpose The Head – Billing Operations is a strategic executive leadership role responsible for leading and transforming large-scale Revenue Cycle Management operations across, Provider and Payer service lines. The role will drive operational excellence, client success, financial performance, digital transformation, and organizational capability while ensuring scalable, compliant, and high-quality service delivery.

Reporting to the Country Head – India, the incumbent will provide strategic direction to multi-site operations, build high-performing leadership teams, strengthen client partnerships, and support the organization’s long-term growth objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Leadership

- Define and execute the operational strategy for Provider and Payer Revenue Cycle Management operations.
- Develop long-term operational roadmaps aligned with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Drive operational transformation through innovation, automation, AI, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Country Head and Executive Leadership Team on business strategy and organizational growth.

Operational Leadership

- Lead end-to-end Provider, and Payer RCM operations across multiple delivery centers.
- Ensure achievement of operational KPIs including quality, productivity, turnaround time, SLA adherence, and customer satisfaction.
- Establish governance frameworks, operational dashboards, and executive review mechanisms.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare regulations, client requirements, and internal quality standards.
- Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and best-in-class delivery practices.

Financial & Business Management

- Own operational planning, budgeting, resource optimization, and cost management.
- Support business development through solution design, due diligence, client transitions,



and operational readiness.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, business expansion, and revenue growth.

Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with Provider and Payer clients.
- Lead governance meetings, business reviews, and strategic discussions with customers.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction while proactively managing operational risks and escalations.

People Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and develop senior operations leaders and high-performing teams.
- Drive succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, and organizational capability building.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Transformation & Innovation

- Champion digital transformation initiatives across RCM operations.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions, automation, analytics, and workflow optimization.
- Promote innovation that enhances operational efficiency and customer experience.

Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA or Master’s Degree is preferred.

Experience
- 20+ years of progressive experience in the Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) industry. Expertise in Provider and Payer operations
- Minimum 5 years of executive leadership experience heading large-scale.
- Strong understanding of Epic-enabled Provider RCM workflows.
- Proven experience managing multi-site delivery organizations and large operational teams.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational transformation, business growth, and organizational change.
- Extensive experience managing enterprise healthcare clients and executive stakeholder relationships.
- Robust understanding of U.S. healthcare regulations, HIPAA, coding compliance, and quality standards.
