Role & responsibilities
- Lead and execute testing activities for Guidewire modules such as PolicyCenter,
- ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and ContactCenter.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium,
- Playwright, and other industry-standard automation tools.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on functional and technical
- requirements.
- Automate end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and API testing,
- leveraging tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, or UFT.
- Analyze complex business, functional, and technical requirements to identify gaps and
- suggest improvements.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, working closely with development teams to identify
- root causes and drive resolutions.
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines and integrate automated
- tests within CI/CD workflows,
utilizing tools like Azure DevOps.
- Validate data flow and integration points across Guidewire modules and external
- systems.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Bugzilla,
- ensuring timely resolution.
- Assess the impact of system changes and define regression test suites accordingly.
- Monitor testing metrics and continuously improve test processes, automation
- frameworks, and best practices.
- Provide SME-level guidance on Guidewire modules, test strategies, and automation
- best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge through documentation and
- knowledge-sharing sessions.
