About the roleWe’re looking for a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager to own user growth for established browser extensions with a large international user base.
This is not just a paid advertising role.
You’ll be responsible for figuring out how we acquire more users, which channels work, and how we scale them.
You’ll experiment across Chrome Web Store optimisation, SEO, creators, communities, partnerships and paid acquisition.
We’re looking for someone who is analytical, experimental and comfortable owning growth outcomes — not just campaigns or marketing activities.
What you'll ownBrowser Extension & Chrome Web Store GrowthOwn how our extensions are discovered and converted within the Chrome Web Store.
You'll
- Optimise listings, positioning, descriptions, keywords and creative assets
- Improve visitor-to-install conversion
- Research competitors and category opportunities
- Experiment with localisation and new markets
- Track installs, activation, retention and uninstall behaviour
SEO & Organic GrowthIdentify high-intent organic acquisition opportunities and turn them into scalable sources of users.
You'll
- Conduct keyword and competitor research
- Develop landing pages, comparison pages and other SEO initiatives
- Identify new organic acquisition opportunities
- Work with content and design resources where required
- Measure SEO based on conversions and acquired users, not just traffic
Creators, Communities & PartnershipsFind relevant audiences and develop ways to reach them through:
- YouTube and short-form creators
- Bloggers and newsletters
- Reddit and online communities
- X/Twitter

- Strategic product partnerships
You'll own outreach,
experiments and measurement to determine which channels can scale. Paid AcquisitionRun and optimise acquisition campaigns across relevant channels, potentially including:
- Google Ads
- Meta
- YouTube
- Reddit
- X/Twitter
You'll own campaigns end-to-end, including targeting, creative testing, landing pages, budgets, conversion tracking and optimisation. Growth ExperimentationYou'll continuously identify and test recent ways to acquire and retain users.
Experiments could include new acquisition channels, creator campaigns, Chrome Web Store optimisation, referral loops, landing pages, new markets, partnerships or product-led growth initiatives.
You'll develop hypotheses, run experiments, measure the results and quickly stop what isn't working.
What we're looking for2–5 years of hands-on growth marketing experience, ideally with a consumer, SaaS, PLG, mobile app, browser extension or internet product.
You should have
- Experience acquiring users in international markets such as the US and UK

- Experience with analytics, attribution and conversion tracking
- A strong experimentation mindset
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of results
You don't need to be an expert in every acquisition channel. We're more interested in someone who knows how to find and scale what works. Nice to have
- Experience marketing a Chrome or browser extension
- B2C or prosumer growth experience
- Chrome Web Store optimisation experience
- Product-led growth experience
- Creator/influencer marketing experience
- Reddit or community-led growth experience
- Strong SEO knowledge
- Experience scaling products internationally
How we'll measure successWe're focused on sustainable user growth rather than vanity metrics.
You'll be measured on metrics such as:
- New users and installs
- Activation
- Retention
- Cost per acquired user
- Cost per retained user
- Organic growth
- Conversion rates
- CAC / ROAS where relevant
You'll be a great fit ifYou're excited by being given an established product and being asked:
“How would you get another 100,000 people using this?”
You like testing ideas, analysing the results and moving quickly.
You're comfortable when experiments fail and know when to stop them.
You can think across SEO, creators, paid acquisition, partnerships, communities and product-led growth rather than relying on one channel.
Most importantly, you want to own a growth number, not just manage marketing activities.
How to applyPlease send your CV along with a short answer to:
“If you joined tomorrow, what are the first three growth experiments you would run for a browser extension, and why?”
We're more interested in how you think about growth than a perfectly polished application.
