As we embark on our next phase of aggressive expansion and operational transformation, we are seeking a visionary, high-performance Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to integrate our diverse divisions, optimize group synergies, and drive sustainable, bottom-line profitability.
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Group CEO will provide the overarching strategic, financial, and operational leadership for the entire enterprise. This role demands an agile turnaround strategist and a visionary builder who can seamlessly unite diverse business functions into a cohesive, high-performing corporate machine. You will hold ultimate P&L; accountability, transforming market shifts into clear, quantifiable wins.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Formulate Strategy: Partner closely with the MD and the Board of Directors to define the long-term vision, corporate strategy, and growth trajectories for all business units.
- Business Expansion: Identify, evaluate, and execute new market opportunities, mergers, acquisitions (M&A;), and strategic partnerships to aggressively scale our market footprint.
- Synergy Optimisation: Foster cross-divisional collaboration to leverage group-wide strengths, optimise resource allocation, and eliminate operational redundancies.
- Operational & Divisional Oversight
- Performance Management: Directly oversee the executive leadership team across all core functions (Service, Projects Planning & Development, Finance, HR, Sales, etc.) to ensure group-wide targets are met.
- Project Execution: Monitor and accelerate large-scale infrastructure and development projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and fully aligned with strategic goals.
- Process Excellence:
Drive the adoption of best-in-class operational practices, digital transformation initiatives, and robust internal controls across all corporate divisions.
- Financial Performance & Governance
- P&L; Accountability: Hold ultimate accountability for the financial performance, top-line profitability, and cash flow management of the entire portfolio.
- Capital Allocation: Oversee the annual budgeting process and make high-stakes, strategic decisions regarding capital expenditure (CapEx) and resource deployment.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with all statutory, legal, regulatory, and corporate governance standards across all operating regions.
- Leadership & Culture
- Talent Strategy: Champion a high-performance corporate culture rooted in absolute accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Succession Planning: Mentor, develop, and retain top-tier executive talent, ensuring robust succession plans are in place for critical corporate roles.
- Change Management: Lead the organization through periods of structural transition, role shifts, and market evolution with absolute clarity and transparency.
- Stakeholder & Brand Management
- Board & Investor Relations: Maintain strong, transparent, and collaborative relationships with the Board of Directors, financial institutions, and key investors.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Represent the group at major industry forums, government bodies, OEMs, and high-level corporate events to enhance the organization's market reputation.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Your success in this role will be measured by:
- Financial Growth: Revenue growth, EBITDA margin improvement, and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Strategic Delivery: Timely and successful execution of group-wide strategic initiatives,
digital transformations, and capital projects.
- Operational Efficiency: Quantifiable cost reduction through shared services and optimized resource utilization across business divisions.
- Leadership Retention: Healthy turnover rates and strong retention metrics of key executive and managerial talent.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or a related field from a premier institution. A technical or engineering undergraduate background is highly advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 15–20 years of qualified operations experience, with at least 5–7 years in a senior executive role (CEO, COO, or major Business Head) managing a diversified group or a large corporate entity.
- Industry Knowledge: A proven track record in managing multi-divisional operations, corporate restructuring, large-scale project execution, and retail/service operations. Direct automotive ecosystem and/or Retail experience is ONLY preferred.
