? We're Hiring: Graphic Designer (Intern) — Social Media — Institute for Global Studies and Research (IGSR)
IGSR is an independent research and policy publishing institute producing scholarly content across International Relations, Law & Governance, Economics, Human Rights, Policy Studies, and more. We're building our founding team as we scale — and we're looking for a Graphic Designer to create the visuals that carry IGSR's presence on social media.
? Role: Graphic Designer Intern (Social Media)
? Location: Remote
⏳ Duration: 1 month
? Compensation: Unpaid (perks-based — details below)
What you'll work on
- Social media posters for new blog articles, reports, and policy briefs
- Announcement graphics for internship calls and recruitment drives
- Promotional posts for the Monthly Issue and other publications
- Visuals aligned with IGSR's brand identity

Who we're looking for
- Students or early-career designers comfortable with Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
- A positive sense of clean,
scroll-stopping social media design
- Someone reliable who can turn around posters on a short cycle
IGSR is currently a lean, founder-led team scaling through interns and volunteers — this is a chance to build a real portfolio of social media design work for a growing research institute.

- Experience or coursework in Logo Design and Branding to support brand identity projects.
- Proficiency in Image Editing using common design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable software).
- Basic understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Ability to work remotely, manage time effectively, and respond constructively to feedback.
- Strong attention to detail, portfolio or sample work demonstrating design skills, and interest in learning in a professional setting.
