/ Skill Set for a Grafana + ClickHouse Engineer (4 to 6 Yrs Exp)

Key Skills Required

- 4+ years of experience in monitoring, observability, and data visualization solutions.

- Robust hands-on experience with Grafana dashboard development, visualization, alerting, and reporting.

- Expertise in ClickHouse database administration, query optimization, data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning.

- Experience building real-time and near real-time analytics dashboards using Grafana connected to ClickHouse.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and complex analytical query development.

- Experience with large-scale log, metrics, and event data analysis.

- Knowledge of ETL/data ingestion pipelines and integration with monitoring platforms.

- Experience troubleshooting dashboard performance, database bottlenecks, and data quality issues.

- Understanding of Linux environments, scripting (Python/Bash),



and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain Grafana dashboards and monitoring solutions.

- Manage and optimize ClickHouse databases for high-performance analytics workloads.

- Create alerts, reports, and KPIs for business and operational monitoring.

- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify performance trends and system issues.

- Implement best practices for observability, data retention, and query optimization.

- Support production environments and resolve monitoring/data platform issues.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with distributed ClickHouse clusters.

- Exposure to DevOps, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.
