Overview

Kickstart your career with Gallagher's UK Insurance Operations team as an Accounts & Settlement (A&S;) Trainee. This role offers an excellent opportunity for Commerce graduates to gain exposure to the insurance and financial services industry while supporting accounting, settlement, and reconciliation activities for our UK business. You will receive structured training, work with global teams, and build a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

As an Accounts & Settlement (A&S;) Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting financial and operational processes within the UK Insurance division.

How you'll make an impact

- Processing and maintaining insurance-related financial transactions.
- Reviewing data and documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Supporting premium accounting and settlement activities.
- Performing reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Preparing reports and maintaining process documentation.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to address operational queries.
- Adhering to quality standards, timelines,



and compliance requirements.
- Learning and understanding UK insurance operations and accounting processes.

About you

- Commerce graduates only (B.Com, BAF, BMS, BBI, BBM, BFM or equivalent Commerce stream).
- Graduation year: 2025 or 2026.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with up to 1 year of work experience, including those from non-related industries who wish to start their career with Gallagher, may also apply as freshers.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and finance concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is an added advantage.
- Willingness to learn and build a career in the insurance industry.

Not Eligible

- MBA graduates.
- Non-Commerce graduates.
