Job Summary The L1 MS Engineer will be responsible for end to end monitoring and first level operations support for Mobile telecom Core Network, BSS components. This includes KPI alarm monitoring, basic incident management, handling known issue MOP executions, and routing incidents to L2 teams based on analysis and correlation. The role also involves coordination with third party vendors, managing emergency bridges for priority incidents, and performing periodic health checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform E2E Network KPI Monitoring
- Perform Alarm Monitoring
- Attending to Assigned Auto-Generated Incidents for initial checks and determine its known issue or a current issue.
- Execute basic incident management, including triage, acknowledgment, and initial troubleshooting using Analytical dashboards and KPI graphs.
- Handle known issue by correlating with past occurrence.
- Analyze/Triage issues and route incidents to L2 based on correlation and impact.
- Ability to learn new tools to be able to use them for daily ops.
- Coordinate and engage with third-party vendors for incident follow-up.
- Open,
manage, and drive emergency bridges for Priority Incidents.
- Conduct periodic network health checks and share reports with relevant teams.
- Ensure adherence to SLA, NOC processes, and operational guidelines.
Job Requirements
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- 0-3 years of experience in Telecom Networking or any Technical NOC Operations.
- Good understanding of L1 NOC processes, SLA, Monitoring ability, Ability to understand new tools and concepts.
- Ability to use User interface dashboards and analytics make sense out of it.
- Familiarity with alarm management, and operational workflows.
- Strong communication skills in English. (Speaking and Typing skills)
