Role & responsibilities

At least 5-7 years working experience of leading and managing finance department of a large size listed utility

- To identify the KPI’s of finance department and monitor the same periodically to improve their performance and productivity.
- Review compliance status for all applicable legal and other requirements
- Review of non-conformance and approve corrective/preventive action
- Review and approve training needs and departmental training plan
- Commanding knowledge of accounting standards, evaluating & implementing accounting policies and financial controls in key areas of receivables. payables, inventories, fixed assets, treasury etc.

- Oversee and reporting monthly, quarterly & annual financial results, preparing MIS and variance analysis.
- Oversee the collection and treasury functions and to implement, and improve the processes to achieve the desired outputs.
- To analyze the CAPEX & OPEX for budgetary control.

- Long term projections for financing and evaluating projects.
- Practical experience of dealing with direct tax and indirect tax matters.
- Experience of dealing with commercial matters, agreements etc. with Government authorities.
