ob Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Genset Service Engineer to handle installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Diesel Generator (DG) Sets. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and DG set operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, service, and maintain Diesel Generator (DG) Sets/Gensets.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of DG sets.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and engine-related issues.
- Inspect and repair engine components, alternators, batteries, control panels, and related systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential faults before breakdowns.
- Perform load testing and performance checks of DG sets.
- Troubleshoot issues related to starting, charging, fuel, cooling, lubrication, and electrical systems.
- Handle DG controller and control-panel-related faults.
- Maintain proper service records, job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance reports.
- Visit customer sites for breakdown services, preventive maintenance, and technical support.




- Coordinate with customers and provide technical guidance regarding DG operation and maintenance.
- Ensure timely completion of service calls and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintain proper tools, equipment, and spare-parts requirements for service activities.
- Follow company safety procedures and ensure safe working practices at customer sites.
- Coordinate with the service team for major repairs and technical issues.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Diesel Generators / DG Sets.
- Good understanding of diesel engines, alternators, batteries, control panels, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for service requirements.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
