We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Operations to lead and oversee the complete day-to-day operations of a star-rated resort with 200+ rooms.

The ideal candidate should have solid leadership, operational expertise, and the ability to coordinate all departments and cross-functional activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and guest-focused resort operations.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for daily resort operations and management.

1.Lead and coordinate all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B;, Engineering/Maintenance, Security, HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Recreation, and other support functions.

2.Ensure smooth coordination between departments and effective cross-functional operations.

Monitor guest satisfaction, service standards, complaints, and operational efficiency.

3.Plan and supervise daily operational activities, manpower deployment, and departmental coordination.

4.Ensure compliance with brand standards, SOPs, safety, hygiene, statutory requirements, and quality standards.

5.Monitor operational budgets, costs, productivity, and revenue-supporting initiatives.





6.Conduct regular management meetings and review departmental performance/KPIs.

7.Coordinate with senior management/ownership on operational planning, improvements, and business requirements.

8.Ensure the resort is consistently maintained in excellent operational and presentation standards.

9.Handle operational challenges, emergencies, and critical guest situations effectively.

10.Drive a culture of teamwork, accountability, discipline, and service excellence.

Candidate Profile

- Experience: 8-10 years in hotel/resort operations, preferably in a reputed star-rated resort/hotel.
- Proven experience handling 200+ room inventory or a large-scale hospitality operation.
- Strong knowledge of complete resort operations and inter-departmental coordination.
- Excellent leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of hospitality SOPs, guest service, manpower management, and operational controls.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple functions simultaneously.
- Joining 10-15 days.
