Key Responsibilities

- Design Concepting: Create sketches, 3D models, and renderings for loose furniture.

- Technical Drawings: Produce detailed production drawings, Joinery details, and BOMs (Bill of Materials).

- Factory Collaboration: Visit manufacturing units regularly to review prototypes and production runs.

- Material Selection: Source and select woods, metals, fabrics, finishes, and hardware.

- Quality Control: Inspect first-article production pieces at the factory for design accuracy.

- Trend Analysis: Research market trends, materials, and production technologies.

- Problem Solving: Modify designs based on factory feedback to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design,



or Product Design.

- Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360, plus rendering tools (Keyshot/V-Ray).

- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of woodworking, upholstery, metalwork, and manufacturing constraints.

- Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently to local or regional factories.
