About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager – Frontend to lead multiple engineering squads responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance customer-facing digital platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong frontend architecture expertise, modern web development practices, and proven people leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and execute frontend engineering strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive frontend modernization initiatives and technology roadmaps.
- Own end-to-end delivery of frontend initiatives across multiple squads.
- Lead, mentor, and develop frontend engineering teams.
- Review and approve High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
- Ensure adoption of reusable component libraries and enterprise design systems.
- Drive frontend performance optimization, accessibility, security, and observability

standards.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews for critical

production issues.
- Partner with Product, Design, QA, Backend, Business, and Operations teams.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of frontend engineering experience.
- 2–5 years of people management experience leading engineering teams and driving

delivery across multiple projects.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale FinTech, Banking, Payments, Lending, or NBFC

platforms.
- Strong expertise in Angular, React, and modern frontend architectures.
- Experience working within regulated financial environments.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building customer-facing lending or banking applications.
- Exposure to RBI/NHB regulatory requirements.
- Experience leading frontend modernization or migration programs.
- Experience implementing enterprise design systems.
- MBA or Postgraduate degree is an advantage.

- Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture
