Role Description The Front Office Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Amartara The Resort in Abu Road. This position oversees day-to-day front office operations, including supervising front desk staff, managing guest check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring accurate reservation and billing procedures.
The role is responsible for handling guest inquiries and complaints, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and maintaining a high standard of customer service and presentation in the lobby and reception areas.
The Duty
Manager monitors occupancy, prepares shift reports, and ensures adherence to resort policies and operating procedures. This role requires active presence during shifts,
support for team members, and timely resolution of operational issues to ensure smooth front office functioning.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Front Office and Customer Service skills, with experience in handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest relations in a hospitality environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in Customer Satisfaction and Communication, including the ability to manage guest feedback, resolve concerns, and communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
- Candidates should possess Office Administration capabilities, including basic documentation, reporting, and use of reservation or property management systems.
- Relevant experience as a Duty Manager, Front Office Supervisor, or similar role in hotels or resorts is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, are preferred.
- Proficiency in English; additional local or foreign language skills are a plus.
