We are looking for a passionate and proactive Desk Counselor to join our coaching center team.

The Desk Counselor will be responsible for being the face of the institution — handling front desk operations, counseling students and parents about courses and academic planning, and guiding them through the enrollment process.

You will also play a key role in converting inquiries into admissions through effective communication and follow-ups.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet and assist all walk-in students, parents, and visitors with professionalism and warmth.

Explain available courses, eligibility criteria, fee structures, schedules, and career opportunities.

Understand student needs and suggest appropriate courses/programs.

Conduct follow-up calls for inquiries and maintain a lead tracker.

Coordinate with marketing teams to generate leads and handle lead conversion.

Manage daily telephonic inquiries and walk-ins, and ensure proper documentation.

Assist in conducting events like seminars, orientations, and career counseling sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Educational Qualification: Minimum Graduate

Experience:



1-3 years in a similar counseling or front office role (Freshers with good communication skills can apply).

Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel), email writing, and data entry.

Language: English, Hindi, and local language.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Robust interpersonal skills and a pleasing personality.

Ability to empathize with students and parents and build trust.

Confident in public speaking and presenting course details.

Experience using CRM tools or Student Management Software (ERP systems).

Problem-solving attitude and ability to work under pressure
