The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing operations in the foundry or manufacturing unit. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities including grinding, sanding, cutting, and finishing of castings or fabricated parts.
- Allocate work to staff based on production schedules and priorities.
- Ensure all products meet specified quality and dimensional standards.
- Train and mentor workers on proper techniques, tool usage, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and machinery to ensure optimal working condition.
- Enforce health and safety regulations within the production area.
- Maintain records of production output, downtime, and manpower utilization.
- Coordinate with the quality assurance team for non-conformances and rework.
