Homaya Inc. is an early-stage technology company building retail technology with computer vision. We are hiring the engineer who will own our platform and grow the platform team.

What we want

- Four or more years shipping production web software end-to-end

, from schema to pixels.

- TypeScript with React or Next.js on the front;

Python (FastAPI) or Node on the back;

Postgres you can design, index and tune.

- Built and debugged webhook-driven integrations with at least one messaging platform

: WhatsApp Business Platform, Twilio, Telegram or SMS.

- Comfortable with queues, background jobs, state machines, idempotency and retries.

- Docker, CI/CD and one major cloud. You can run a small production system alone.

- Product sense: you can turn a conversation with a non-technical user into a screen.

What you will do





- Build the multi-tenant backend and the web console.

- Own the WhatsApp integration end to end: templates, interactive replies, media, webhooks, delivery.

- Build reporting for store and chain level.

- Own device management for hardware in the field: provisioning, health, updates.

- Keep it secure, reliable and cheap: auth, tenancy, audit, infrastructure, cost.

- Hire and grow the platform team after funding.

Compensation

- Until funding:

a basic salary plus ESOP.

- After funding:

salary normalised to market, ESOP continues.
