Role Description The Forward Deployed Engineer is a full-time, on-site role, working closely with customers to implement and customize alfaEdge’s platform in their real-world environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating back-end services, developing and deploying AI custom models, and tailoring workflows to match each client’s operational needs.

The role involves working directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements, configuring systems, troubleshooting issues,



and ensuring smooth rollouts and new feature additions. The engineer will collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate on-ground feedback into technical solutions, optimize performance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and designing maintainable, modular codebases.
- Prior Experiance in developing AI agentic platforms is preffered.
- Ability to work on-site with customers, gather technical and functional requirements, and translate them into implementation plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in quick-paced startup environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.
