What is Gimi Michi?

Gimi Michi is a fast-growing FMCG brand building high-quality, great-tasting products with a strong focus on execution, cost discipline, and speed. Were a small, driven team that values ownership, hustle, and common sense over fancy titles.

What this role actually is

This is the role that decides whether Gimi Michi is in stock when a customer in Bandra opens Zepto at 9 PM craving ramen, or whether they end up ordering a competitor instead. You will own last-mile dispatch and inwarding across all our channels — Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart) and E-Commerce (Amazon, Flipkart). PO drops, appointments, dispatches, GRNs, short receipts, chargebacks, the works.

If a pickup is missed, an appointment is rejected, a consignment is short-received, or a chargeback hits — it’s your problem to solve, and your problem to prevent next time.

What you’ll own, day-to-day

Quick Commerce (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart)

- Tracking POs the moment they drop, coordinating appointment slots with each platform
- Driving city-wise and dark-store-wise fill rates — making sure we don’t lose listings to fill-rate penalties
- Sending 8 AM and 6 PM dispatch readiness updates to internal team and Prozo
- Following up on short receipts, rejections, MRP/case-config disputes, and chargebacks until they’re reversed or written off

E-Commerce (Amazon, Flipkart)

- Managing FBA/FBF replenishment cycles — STO creation, labels, carton & shipment compliance
- Tracking inwarding at FCs, escalating delays before they become out-of-stocks
- Handling reconciliation: lost units, damaged units, removal orders, ASIN issues

Cross-stakeholder coordination

- Daily back-and-forth with Prozo (our 3PL partner), platform KAMs, and our warehouse team
- Being the single point of contact internally
- Building and maintaining trackers that give us real-time visibility on every consignment in motion

What we’re looking for 1-3 years in last-mile, QCom ops, marketplace ops, or 3PL coordination.



You’ve done this before, and you’ve made mistakes you don’t want to repeat. These things help too:

Non-negotiables

- Street-smart. You can read a situation, find the right person to call, and get things unblocked without escalating everything. You know when to be polite and when to push.
- Excellent communication. You can write a crisp WhatsApp follow-up, hop on a call with a Blinkit KAM, and update the founders in the same 10 minutes — all clearly.
- Operationally sharp. You understand POs, appointments, GRNs, fill rates, chargebacks, SLAs. We won’t need to explain the basics.
- Detail-obsessed. One unchecked PO can cost us lakhs. You don’t miss things.
- Comfortable in Excel/Sheets. You don’t need to be an analyst, but you should be able to build a tracker, use pivots, and read a dashboard without help.

Nice-to-haves

- Existing relationships at Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, Amazon, or Flipkart
- Experience working with Unicommerce, Prozo, or similar 3PL/OMS systems
- F&B; / FMCG background
