Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Flutter Developer who can independently handle the development and maintenance of mobile applications for Android and iOS, with strong expertise in real-time location tracking, location fetching, background location services, and map-based functionality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Flutter & Dart.
- Implement real-time GPS location tracking and location fetching.
- Implement foreground and background location tracking.
- Handle Android and iOS location permissions, GPS services, and battery optimization.
- Work with Google Maps / Map SDKs, markers, routes, polylines, geofencing, and location-based features.
- Implement reliable location updates even when the application is running in the background.
- Integrate REST APIs for sending and retrieving location data.
- Handle location accuracy, update intervals, distance calculations, and location-related edge cases.
- Implement location tracking suitable for logistics / fleet / driver tracking applications.
- Debug and resolve Android/iOS-specific location and permission issues.
- Build, test, and deploy applications on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready Flutter code.

- Good understanding of Android and iOS application architecture.
- Experience with Flutter state management such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc/Cubit, or GetX.
- Experience debugging Android and iOS-specific issues.
- Knowledge of Git and Git-based workflows.

Mandatory Requirement – Development Device The candidate must have their own laptop/MacBook capable of Android and iOS development. For iOS development, access to a MacBook/macOS environment is mandatory, including the ability to use:
- Xcode
- iOS Simulator

- Android Studio

- Flutter SDK
- Android Emulator

The candidate should be able to independently build and test the application on both Android and iOS.

Preferred Experience

- Experience developing logistics, fleet management, driver tracking, delivery, or location-based applications.
- Experience with real-time location tracking of drivers/vehicles.
- Experience with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Experience with WebSockets or other real-time communication technologies.
- Knowledge of Google Maps APIs and route/distance calculations.
- Experience publishing applications to both Play Store and App Store.

Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Valuable communication and coordination with development teams.
- Ability to understand existing codebases and implement features without constant supervision.

Key Requirement Primary focus of this role will be reliable real-time location tracking and location-based functionality across Android and iOS, including background tracking and production-level location handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
