About the Role

We are seeking a Fixed Asset Accounting executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a storekeeper or in accounts management with a focus on fixed assets. This role is critical for ensuring the accurate identification, reconciliation, and documentation of fixed assets across multiple sites, maintaining a live status of all assets at all times..

Key Responsibilities

Fixed Asset Identification and Reconciliation

- Conduct periodic physical verification of fixed assets on-site.
- Reconcile physical assets with the records in the books of accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in asset records promptly.

Accounts Management

- Record all fixed asset transactions, including acquisitions, disposals,



and transfers, in the accounting system.
- Ensure depreciation schedules are updated and accurate.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards related to fixed assets.

Asset Tracking and Reporting

- Develop and maintain a live status report for all fixed assets, including location, condition, and usage.
- Prepare periodic fixed asset reports for management review.

Documentation and Compliance

- Maintain proper documentation for all fixed asset transactions, including purchase invoices, transfer notes, and disposal records.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary fixed asset records and reconciliations.
- Adhere to internal controls and policies regarding fixed asset management

Ideal Candidate Profile

- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in accounts management, preferably with a focus on fixed assets.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles related to fixed assets.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a multi-site business environment.
- Familiarity with asset tracking software.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
