Role Description The MEP Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for building projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and checking technical drawings, participating in MEP coordination meetings, and ensuring integration of electrical, plumbing, and other building services with architectural and structural plans.

The role involves site inspections in Chennai, resolving technical issues, monitoring installation quality, and verifying compliance with relevant codes and standards.



The MEP Engineer will collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other engineers to support project planning, scheduling, and documentation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) engineering and overall MEP coordination.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and Building Services design and implementation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Plumbing systems design, installation oversight, and integration with other building services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in MEP design, coordination, or site execution for building projects, preferably in commercial or residential construction.
- Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards, and familiarity with MEP drawings and documentation.
- Ability to work in office in Chennai, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in basic engineering software and MS Office; exposure to CAD or BIM tools is an advantage.
