We are looking for an experienced Finishing & Quality Manager to manage the complete finishing operations and ensure that all garments meet the required quality standards and buyer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the complete finishing and quality process from garment checking to final packing.
2. Supervise thread cutting, checking, pressing, ironing, folding, tagging and packing.
3. Conduct final quality inspections and ensure garments meet buyer specifications.
4. Identify and control defects, rework, alterations and rejection levels.
5. Ensure proper quality standards are maintained throughout the finishing process.
6. Manage and monitor the finishing and quality team to achieve daily production targets.
7. Coordinate closely with Production, Merchandising and Dispatch teams.
8. Ensure correct measurements, workmanship, construction, appearance and finishing of garments.
9. Monitor buyer-specific quality requirements and ensure compliance before shipment.

Conduct random and final inspections before goods are packed and dispatched.
11. Identify recurring quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
12. Maintain daily production, quality and rejection reports.
13. Train and guide finishing and checking staff on quality requirements.
14. Ensure orders are completed within production and shipment deadlines.
15. Maintain proper housekeeping, discipline and workflow on the finishing floor.
What We're Looking For
1. 5+ years of relevant experience in garment finishing and quality, preferably with a garment export house.
2. Robust knowledge of garment quality inspection and finishing processes.
3. Experience in handling finishing and quality teams.
4. Good understanding of export-quality standards and buyer requirements.
5. Strong knowledge of measurements, workmanship, garment construction and finishing.
6. Ability to identify quality issues and take quick corrective action.
7. Strong team-management and problem-solving skills.
8. Ability to work under production and shipment deadlines.
9. Candidates with experience in women's apparel / woven garments will be preferred.
