Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead and strengthen the organization's finance function across multiple business locations and states. The role will be responsible for driving robust financial governance, ensuring accurate financial reporting, enhancing internal controls, and leading finance transformation initiatives through automation and digitalization.

The incumbent will oversee financial accounting, state finance operations, balance sheet management, taxation, MIS, banking relationships, operating expenditure, and cost optimization. This is a strategic leadership role requiring strong business partnering capabilities, operational excellence, and the ability to manage finance functions in a geographically dispersed organization.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification

- Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Additional exposure to Finance Transformation, ERP, Analytics,



Digital Finance, or Taxation will be an added advantage.

Experience

- 20-25 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Robust experience in Financial Controllership, Accounting, Financial Reporting, Balance Sheet Management, Taxation, MIS, Banking, and Internal Controls.
- Proven track record of leading finance operations in a multi-location or multi-state organization.
- Experience in listed companies or large organizations in Consumer, Manufacturing, Textile, Retail, Services, Distribution, or similar industries will be preferred.
- Hands-on experience in finance process improvement, cost optimization, ERP implementation/optimization, and finance digital transformation.
- Exposure to statutory audits, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance practices.
