About the Role

Vortexen is looking for a Financial Consulting Specialist who can work directly with clients to understand their financial and business objectives, analyse financial information, identify opportunities and risks, and provide practical recommendations to support better business decisions.

The role is focused on financial analysis, business planning, forecasting, financial modelling, profitability analysis, cost analysis, and management decision support.

The successful candidate should be able to understand financial information, identify the underlying business issues, communicate findings clearly, and convert analysis into actionable recommendations for clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct client meetings to understand financial and business requirements.
- Review and analyse financial statements.
- Conduct financial health and performance assessments.
- Analyse revenue, expenses, costs, margins, and profitability.
- Analyse cash flow and working capital.




- Develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare cash-flow projections.
- Develop financial models.
- Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Conduct project profitability analysis.
- Evaluate investment and expansion opportunities.
- Analyse business performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Identify cost-control and cost-optimization opportunities.
- Identify financial risks and potential mitigation strategies.
- Prepare management dashboards and financial reports.
- Develop financial recommendations based on analysis.
- Support business planning and financial decision-making.
- Present financial findings to client management.
- Explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Support clients during implementation of recommendations where required.
- Conduct periodic financial performance reviews.
- Maintain professional client relationships.
- Identify additional financial consulting opportunities.

Client-Facing Responsibilities
- Conduct financial consultation and discovery meetings.
- Request and review relevant client financial information.
- Present financial analysis and findings.
- Explain financial models and scenarios.
- Discuss financial risks and opportunities.
- Provide practical management recommendations.
- Conduct financial review meetings.
- Prepare and present professional consulting reports.
- Maintain confidentiality of client financial information.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics,



Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Experience in financial analysis, financial consulting, FP&A;, accounting, or business advisory.
- Strong understanding of financial statements.
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Positive understanding of business operations and profitability.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convert financial data into practical business recommendations.

Preferred Experience
- Financial consulting or business advisory experience.
- Experience working directly with business owners or senior management.
- Experience working with SMEs or corporate clients.
- Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience in financial modelling.
- Experience in project or business profitability analysis.
- ACCA, CMA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
- UAE/GCC business experience is an advantage.
