About The Role

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Gurgaon.

The role will support day-to-day accounting activities while helping ensure the timely completion of statutory, regulatory, tax, payroll, and financial reporting requirements across relevant markets.

This is a broad finance role offering exposure to month-end accounting, taxation, payroll, statutory compliance, audits, reconciliations, financial statements, and cross-functional stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Accountant, You Will

- Support the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns, including VAT/sales tax, across applicable jurisdictions.
- Assist with direct tax, withholding tax, statutory filings, and regulatory renewals.
- Support end-to-end payroll processing and applicable local payroll and employment compliance requirements.
- Assist with annual corporate income tax calculations and tax return filings.
- Support statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across relevant markets.
- Assist with corporate documentation and filings with local authorities.
- Support month-end accounting activities, including:
- Payroll journal postings
- Accrual journal postings




- Preparation and raising of cost recharges
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Finalisation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements
- Preparation and analysis of cash flow projections

- Prepare reconciliations and supporting documentation for year-end audits.
- Support statutory, tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing audits, as applicable.
- Liaise with internal teams and other departments on finance-related matters.

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A part-qualified professional accounting qualification would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Good understanding of statutory and accounting requirements across different markets.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Prior experience working with an ERP system.
- Experience within a professional services environment is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
